I was honored to be chosen to teach one of the 15 official training workshops in beautiful Miami at national crime prevention conference, which gathered 1500 people in law enforcement from Florida and across the US. I met the most amazing people who protect and serve our community, including the inspirational Director J. Perez for Miami-Dade and his team, who is behind a very impressive community partnership program. The event by Attorney General Pam Bondi, which is geared towards reducing crime in the black community is a very unique initiative fostering collaboration and innovation as well as provides for the workshops up to 17 hours of mandatory retraining credits for law enforcement officers and corrections and juvenile justice employees. I look forward to my soon return to the sunshine state.
